How to connect Pipedrive with an API key

Goal

• Connect your Pipedrive account to the Un1ty app.

• Link one or more Un1ty phone numbers to Pipedrive.

• Check that the integration is correctly installed and working.

Prerequisites

• An active account on the Un1ty app: https://app.un1ty.one

• An active Pipedrive account.

• A valid Pipedrive API key.

• Admin rights (or equivalent) in Un1ty to manage integrations.

• At least one phone number already set up in Un1ty.

Step-by-step procedure

Step 1 – Log in to the Un1ty app

1. Open your browser and go to https://app.un1ty.one.

2. Log in with your credentials.

Expected result:

You’re on the main interface of the Un1ty app.

Step 2 – Go to the integrations menu

1. In the left side menu, click on Plan.

2. Scroll down the page to the Integration and API section.

Expected result:

The list of integrations available in Un1ty appears.

Step 3 – Start installing the Pipedrive integration

1. Find the Pipedrive integration in the list.

2. Click on Install integration.

Expected result:

The configuration screen for the Pipedrive integration opens.

Step 4 – Set up the basic information

1. In the field Integration name, enter for example: Pipedrive.

2. Select the authentication method API Key.

Expected result:

The fields related to the API key become available.

Step 5 – Get the Pipedrive API key

1. Log in to your Pipedrive account.

2. Click on your profile picture (top right).

3. Select Personal preferences.

4. Go to the API section.

5. Copy the displayed API key.

Expected result:

The Pipedrive API key is copied to your clipboard.

Step 6 – Enter the API key in Un1ty

1. Go back to the integration setup screen in Un1ty.

2. Paste the Pipedrive API key into the designated field.

3. Click on Next.

Expected result:

The API key is validated and you move on to the next step.

Step 7 – Link the phone numbers

1. Select the Un1ty phone number(s) to link to the Pipedrive integration.

   • You can select all numbers or only the ones you need.

2. Click on Assign.

Expected result:

The selected numbers are associated with the Pipedrive integration.

Step 8 – Check and install the integration

1. Check the summary displayed:

   • Name of the integration.

   • Authentication method (API Key).

   • Associated phone numbers.

2. Click Validate and install.

Expected result:

A message confirms that the Pipedrive integration is successfully installed.

Final check

• The Pipedrive integration appears in the list of Un1ty integrations.

• The selected phone numbers are visible as connected.

• The integration status shows Installed or Active.

Troubleshooting

Issue 1: the Pipedrive API key is rejected

• Symptom: error when clicking Next.

• Likely cause: incorrect, expired, or badly copied API key.

• Solution: generate or copy the API key again in Pipedrive, then redo step 6.

Issue 2: the Pipedrive integration doesn’t appear

• Symptom: Pipedrive missing from the list of integrations.

• Likely cause: integration not available with your Un1ty plan.

• Solution: check your subscription or contact Un1ty support.

Issue 3: no number available at the pairing step

• Symptom: empty list of numbers.

• Likely cause: no number configured in Un1ty.

• Solution: add a number in Un1ty before restarting the integration.

Issue 4: integration installed but not working

• Symptom: integration visible but no interactions with Pipedrive.

• Likely cause: numbers not properly paired or insufficient permissions.

• Solution: check number pairing and your account permissions.
