Prerequisites
Have an active Crisp account.
The People profiles must have a phone number filled in Crisp to allow automatic matching.
Have access to your Crisp site settings to get your Website ID.
Step 1: Choose your installation mode
Unlike other CRMs, Crisp doesn’t offer a classic OAuth flow. You have two options depending on what you need:
Option A: The Public Plugin (Recommended)
This is the simplest and fastest method.
First install our plugin from the Crisp Marketplace.
In Un1ty, open the app Settings → Integrations section.
Select Crisp, enter a custom name and choose your phone lines.
Tick Public Plugin and only fill in your Website ID.
Option B: The Private Plugin
For a manual setup using your own plugin credentials.
In the Un1ty interface, select Private plugin.
Manually enter your three key identifiers:
Identifier (Plugin ID)
Key (Plugin secret key)
Website ID (Website ID)
This information is available in your Crisp console under Settings → Plugins → My plugins.
Step 2: Log automation
Once validated, the integration is active. Un1ty then manages your exchanges automatically:
Calls: An internal note is added to the most recent open conversation of the contact. If it's an incoming call and no conversation exists, a new one is created.
SMS: Messages are logged as text messages in the conversation.
Pro tip: When a new conversation is created, Un1ty automatically fills in the contact's metadata (name, email, phone) in Crisp to save you time.
Key takeaways
Automatic matching: The integration looks for a People Crisp profile by phone number for each event.
Smart assignment: The activity is assigned to the right Crisp operator if their Un1ty email matches their operator email on the site.
Post-installation management: You can rename the instance at any time or edit the associated lines from the "My integrations" screen.
Security: Your credentials are stored securely and access can be revoked by uninstalling the integration.
